Also encourage your child to build models and make crafts. Help your child children explore the world they live in, by taking field trips to museums. At this stage, children have longer attention spans. Being with friends becomes increasingly important. You will find that girls want to play more with girls and boys with boys. They may have a best friend and an enemy. Children can find criticism or failure difficult to handle and view things as right or wrong with very little middle ground, be patient with them.
